Adrian Plass - Expressing Worship

Creative writing: meditations, prayers, poetry, songs, drama/puppet scripts, sign language and AV images

Adrian Plass is a well know Christian writer/conference speaker, who with other leaders will encourage you to develop/participate in new ways of expressing your worship to God. The workshop is for authors, poets, songwriters, dramatists, scriptwriters, puppeteers, those using signing and AV techie’s: inspire Godly creativity and use new material in our sharing/critique sessions. The best items will be published (free 1 year listing on the Heart Notes worship resources Web-download facility) - you could bless others!

This practical/fun workshop is for ANYONE, regardless of experience or ability to read music! Cost £18/£14 (less £1 discount for bookings prior to 15th April) reduced rates OAP’s/full time students/unemployed, one free place for 5 full paying. Under 16’s must be accompanied by an adult. Optional hot lunch £3.50.

There is also an evening of light entertainment for everybody wanting to laugh! (you don't need to come to the workshop). Free refreshments will be available at the interval.

Adrian has produced over thirty books in the last twenty years (the best known of these is The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass, a gentle satire on the modern church) and his work includes contributions to national/local radio, television and live presentations combining humour, poetry, and story telling, revolving around his own inadequacies and struggles as a Christian and a human being. In recent years Adrian has been joined by his wife Bridget in presenting a more varied and dramatic style of performance. Adrian and Bridget met at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and have found particular satisfaction in being allowed to ‘do a bit of acting’.
